Summer Fun Card

We used the Summer fun Stamp set to stamp all the thongs and used the petite pennants punch to make the little flag and adhered it to a tooth pick(cut the pointy end off first) the waves are vellom sponged with pacific point ink and wavy lines of glue was added and sprinkle on some dazzling diamonds The background is the sandy shells wheel now retired

SEW SUITE stamp set

I love this new stamp set from the Autumn /Winter mini catalogue and I also made some buttons from cardstock to match my card using the circle punch and the hole piecing tool. To make the buttons you punch out four circles of cardstock glue them on top of each other ,I used the multi purpose glue from Stampin up and when dry pierce button holes with a piercing tool or a crop-a-dile tool. You could make buttons with all sorts of punch shapes like hearts, flowers, squares and you can stamp them too and they will match your cards and scrapbook pages perfectly.

Here's a card I made for my classes using the brand new French Foliage stamp set and the Autumn Spice Designer paper from the new mini catalogue. I got the sketch design from mojo monday week 190 by Debbie Carriere. I must say I really love this stamp set and the new dsp is really great, it is quite heavy weight and slightly textured

Broken Fibula

I went and got an xray today and I found out today that my fibula bone is actually broken which I have been walking on all week, silly me. I have to wear this big boot for weeks now i will be doing heaps of card making and scrapping to keep myself amused I think.

Camping trip

We camped on the edge of the Ovens River, I slipped in the mud about one hour after we arrived and sprained my ankle, not a good start to the weekend I also shut my finger in the door of the ute a couple of hours later,but it didnt hurt as much as my fankle(fat ankle).

Chris caught a big cod but it slipped out of Trevs hands as he was climbing back up the bank to get a photo and it got away so no photo but it was pretty big they say.Rusty and Buster (The dogs) had a ball running around in all the puddles and fetching sticks out of the river and the mozzies were plentiful and seemed to be amune from tropical stength aeroguard. The Ranger also visited us and told us we were in a National park and we were lucky that we didnt get fined only because they didnt actually have the no dogs allowed sign up yet. We read on the net when we got home it is a $500 fine for having the dog in the national park.

Chris also sprained his ankle jumping off the back of the ute the following day and the ute broke down on the way back home but we bought a new battery for the car and got on our way again. it was good to be home ,wash off twenty layers of aeroguard and lay in a comfy bed.

Tool Man Card

Stampin Up Stamp set used is called Totally Tools.

Used Mat pack 105826 to make faux stitching on overalls

Tutorial Base card In Skin type colour is A5 folded in half.

Overalls: Cut a piece of card in Night of Navy in A6 size,

Cut 2 strips for overall straps of the top of your Night of navy piece. using a circle punch cut arm hole area out.

Pocket: cut a rectangle for pocket and cut triangles off the bottom to make pocket shape.

Using stampin Up mat pack prick holes for faux stitching around the edges of overalls , pocket, and straps and using a fine end of Stampin Write marker draw in faux cotton between holes.

Stamp greeting on pocket I used Whisper white Craft ink and dried with a heat gun.

Attach straps with some brads to overalls and attach pocket to front of overall only using tape on bottom and sides to leave the top of pocket open.

Shirt is half an A6 piece of patterned cardstock.with a cut in centre and fold out triagles to make shirt collar. Using Sticky strip tape attach shirt to base card and then overalls on top of shirt and trim straps of to the top corners of base card.

Tools: stamp tools from Totally Tools Stamp Set 115894 onto white cardstock and colour in using Stampin Write Markers(I used Real Red) and cut them out and place in pocket

I have used a mix of three stampsets to make this card they are Artistic Etchings, Elements of Style,and Lovely As A Tree I got the Idea from another demonstrator Deborah Ryan from Stampin Connection its a great place for inspiration and ideas of different ways to use your stamps. I have coloured them in with Stampin Ups blender pens for a soft effect and used the Heart to heart punch and some pearls to add dimension and glamour. They are all stamped onto a top note die cut.

These are some little card toppers I made to take to Stampin Ups Melbourne Seminar on Saturday to swap with other demonstrators, they are made with the butterfly punch and coloured with reinkers. The flower pots are made with the wide oval punch and the word window punch and the leaves are from the bird punch wing of the bird. I have made 36 so far. I made Rudolf with the branch from the bird punch his head is made fron the owl punch and his body is an oval punch the little robin is made from the bird punch wing and his wing is a leaf from the brach of the bird punchTo make this card you punch out 4 branches from the Extra large bird punch in soft suede cardstock and trim off the leaves punch out the owls body from the Extra large Owl punch and trim his feet off and sides off his cheeks,punch one oval for a body in chocalate chip cardstock two eyes from the owl punch in Whisper white and two tiny eye dots from the owl punch i chocalate chip and a red spot from the owl punch for his nose, the little bird is a bird punch wing with one of the leaves that was trimmed from the branches and added a red spot on its chest and trim the excess add a little red beak a tringle cut from red scraps

This is our new puppy Rusty we picked him from the lost dogs home at Nth Melbourne he is 8 weeks old Rottweiler X Kelpie. He walks on a lead already and seems very intelligent and fetches balls and toys too and sleeps outside all night with no fuss
